| Horse trekking to the Terelj-Gorkhi National Park BT-4 This tour gives you a chance to enjoy horse riding in Terelj-Gorkhi National Park, but also to climb on the remote and beautiful peak of the Khentii Mountain Range. The peak is named Asralt Khairkhan 2800 m above sea level. Deep in the forest valleys, you will discover the hidden jewel of the area - Khagiin Khar or the Black Lake, truly wild and remote. Bears, wolves, red deer, moose and other wild animals are the only inhabitants of this strictly protected area. Day1. ULAANBAATAR (UB) *If you will arrive in Mongolia by Korean Airlines (KE-Details can be found at www.koreanair.com/,)-this flight will arrive very late in UB at 11:55pm. Upon arrival in Ulaan Baatar, you will meet our representative at the airport and settle down in hotelIf you will arrive early in Ulaanbaatar we have city tour around the capital city of Mongolia, Visit National Nature Museum, and Gandan- Buddhist monastery- a main center of Mongolian Buddhist. Come to the Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Then, visit the winter palace-museum of imperator-Bogd Khan. Overnight at the hotel. Day2. Drive through the grassland toward to "Terelj" National Park (50kms) in the Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. Visit the Tortoise rock. This is a picturesque place of high cliffs eroded in granites of Mesozoic age. Continuous drive (30kms) to meet the nomadic family's of our local guide. Prepare for the horse trekking and in the evening listen to brief historical highlights about the significant events in the history of Mongolia. Day3. Up early to start the horse trekking. This day we will trek to wonderful high eroded rock formations, pine covered mountains and grasslands carpeted with perennial wildflowers and edelweiss. Also Visit to Gunjiin Sum Temple. Overnight at the our ger camp. Day4. After breakfast we horse trekking along the Tuul River, you will notice how the landscape changes as we go north and hike through silent pine forests where all you will hear is the occasional animal call. Keep your ears open for the sound of woodpeckers and keep your eyes open for golden eagles, soaring far above us hunting for prey. After four hours of trekking, we will arrive at our camping spot, a green and peaceful place where the Tuul and Khongoriin rivers meet. Overnight at the our ger camp. Day5. Today we leave the Tuul valley and enter an area of tundra, which is the habitat of the moose. You will soon become an expert at ‘moose detection.’ After about two hours of hiking in a typical Siberian landscape, we will climb up the mountain through deep forest where deer, wolves, moose and bears live. Keep your eyes open! At the top of the mountain, we cross the pass and descend to the breathtakingly beautiful Black Lake. We will camp on the yellow sand beach of the lake. Overnight at the our ger camp. Day6. Drive back Ulaanbaatar city. Transfer your hotel. You will be taken to souvenir and cashmere shops before enjoying an evening concert of National Folklore. Overnight in the hotel Day7. You will be transferred from your hotel to the airport. Say Goodbye to your guide and driver and departure Mongolia.
