| Grassland Mongolia BT-2 Day1. ULAANBAATAR (UB) You will meet our representative at the airport upon arrival in Ulaan Baatar, and settle down in hotel. If you will arrive early in Ulaanbaatar we have city tour around the capital city of Mongolia, Visit National Nature Museum, and Gandan- Buddhist monastery- a main center of Mongolian Buddhist. Come to the Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Then, visit the winter palace-museum of imperator-Bogd Khan. Overnight at the hotel. Day2. Breakfast at your hotel. Your guide and driver are will pick up you from the hotel drive to famous Amarbayasgalant monastery. It was originally built in 1737 by the Manchurian king Kansu, who dedicated it to the great Mongolian Buddhist and sculptor, Zanabazar. In the 1930s and were destroyed 10 of the 37 temples and statues. The monastery was restored between 1975 and 1990 with the help of UNESCO. You're welcome to watch the 30 resident monks conduct their daily ceremonies, compared to over 2000 in 1936 Day2. Early morning head for Ugii Lake- rich for so many species of all kinds of fish and birds. This a freshwater lake located in the valley of the Orkhon River. Camping at tourist camp by the lake Day3. Drive to Tsenkher’s hot spa . Experience truly real natural hot spring for treatment of your stress and body pain. Natural hot spring Thenkher - a remarkable hot spa of water issuing at a scalding +86.5C with stench of hydrogen sulphide. Resting in hot water refresh your body circulation and treating your pains away by naturally. Hiking in the wonderful forest around the hot spa. Overnight stay at a tourist camp. Day4. After, we continuous drive through amazing scenery of wide-open steppe and flowers to "Terkhiin" Tsagaan Lake-"Horgo" volcano National Park.Horgo Mountain is a dormant volcano located on the east shore of Lake Terhiin Tsagaan (2,100 m above sea level). Horgiin Togoo is the highest volcano crater in the Orkhon River Valley. From the summit of this basalt-covered mountain one has a splendid view over the whole region and the lake. The volcanic crater of the Togoo Uul is 200m wide and 100m deep. Overnight stay at a tourist camp. Day5. Exploration an hiking along lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur. Lake Terhiin Tsagaan was formed when volcanic lava dammed the Suman River, cutting a large gorge through the basalt. It is an astonishingly beautiful lake, 20 km long, 16 km wide and 4 to 10 meters deep with an altitude of 2,060m above sea level. Overnight at the tourist camp. Day6. Further drive to Taikhar Chuluu Rock at the bank of Tamir river and visit of “Deer Stones” at Mt.Bulgan. In the evening listen to a legend story about the rock. Overnight at the tourist camp. Day7. Early morning, drive to visit Tuvhun monastery (built by Zanabazar) and was restored in 1971. This area-better known as energy center of world and wonderful by natural also special geological structure. Also there is a cave called “mother belly”, most Mongolian believe to purify your sins in the next rebirth if you crawl into it. We will visit the Tuvhun monastery and free time to hike to Orkhon river valley for photo opportunities and to have experience the nomadic lifestyle. Overnight in the tourist camp. Day8. Breakfast at the camp. Drive to Karakorum. Spend a full day exploring the Erdene-Zuu Monastery, built on the ruins of the ancient city of Karakorum in 1585 and symbolic ruins of the imperial capital of the Mongolian Empire in the 13th century. After lunch visit to nomadic family to taste the airag: fermented mare’s milk and horseback riding. Overnight in the tourist camp. Day9. In the morning drive to Hustain Nuruu National Park to observe the Wild horses or Takhi . Hustai is Mongolian for birch, and Nuruu means mountains. The reserve covers about 57,000 hectares. We visit the center of the reserve and, with luck, see free roaming Przewalskii Horses (Takhi), released here in a unique conservation program aiming at reintroducing this last remaining wild ancestor of the domestic horses. Classified as extinct in the wild, Przewalski's horse is the last true wild horse, and the only ancestor of the domestic horse that has survived to the present day. Overnight at the “Hustai resort” tourist base camp. (B)(L)(D) Day10. After breakfast, return drive to Ulaan Baatar. Transfer to the hotel. Lunch in local restaurant. Shop for souvenirs, original pure cashmere gifts and garments. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner in traditional surroundings. Overnight in your hotel. Day11. Breakfast.
